Commercial Leadership Programme

A programme aimed at the formation of leaders in the Commercial and Marketing Areas, consisting of four rotations (3 in Europe, 1 in the USA) in four different Business Units of the duration of six months each.

Completion of 2 Six Sigma Black Belt projects as a requirement of the Programme.

• First assignment in GE Rail - Florence, Italy - for the development of a strategic marketing study for the commercialization of a diesel locomotive in Europe, Asia and Africa.

• Second assignment in GE Aircraft Engines - Cincinnati, USA - as Deal Team Leader, responsible for the preparation of maintenance contracts worth over U$ .54 billion. Six Sigma project with expected savings of U$57 million

•  Third assignment in GE Energy – Vienna, Austria – as Growth Manager for Eastern Europe generating new leads for >U$ 5 million.

•  Fourth assignment in GE Jenbacher – Innsbruck, Austria – Pricing for new units and services.

International General Management rotation programme

• Consultant for the Supply Chain. Managed several cost reduction projects (worth >€ 8 million of savings) in the logistics and in the procurement arenas – Six Sigma certified

• Customer Relationship Manager with the Engineering Polymers division

• Analyst for Eurobonds trading. Development of a trading system which increased forecasting accuracy by 12%.

• Responsible for the development of cost budgets (>€ 8million) for the construction of Volkswagen Shanghai Plant.

• Delegate to the Air Force Personnel meetings at the Ministry of Defence. Elected representative of >3,000 draftees in the North Italy constituency.

• Internship - Market analysis and on the economic feasibility of a niche car (Honda Argento Vivo).

• Internship - Development of a Statistical Process Control system. Defect reduction of 8%, savings of >£150,000/yr.

Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Cognos Business Intelligence Suite. Good knowledge of FrontPage.
